We've always got something brewing.

One of the most exciting things about being designers is that we are always learning about new businesses! With every new client we have a great opportunity to learn a bit about their business, what they do, how they do it and what they have in mind for the future.

May 2006 -- Gary has written a new article -- it is titled "A Designers Education" and has been published once again by Fred Showker and graphic-design.com. Thanks again! This article takes a look at learning to be a designer and what it means to be a designer.

The UK's “DIGIT Magazine” -- Digit 97, March 2006 issue -- BIG TIME Epidemic in print... as it turned out Sean Ashcroft's article about logos didn't merely "box-out" my article titled "Nothing Up My Sleeve" -- it's essentially a steroid injected mutation of my article. Ashcroft recycled the whole piece -- grafting it together with his comments and those of another designer. It is so very cool, you must find a copy NOW! For those of you living in that time zone or who are lucky enough to have access to a news stand that carries it please pick it up -- you won't be sorry!!! The rest of you should be able to order a copy of your very own here!

Our creative director, Gary Dickson has had a number of other articles published:

Clay Times magazine -- 2005 Jan/Feb issue published an article titled "The Highway to Mata Ortiz". It features words and photos by Gary. Sorry all you surf fans it will only be in print (as in ink on paper!) -- so you'll have to track down a copy at your local pottery supply store. Or visit their webiste to order the back issue.

Jeff Fisher gave us a really great plug with words and pictures in his recent book title “The Savvy Designers Guide to Success”. Which if I do say so myself is a very cool book.

Fisher also quoted us in his recent article "The Lost Art of the Thank You Note". Thank you Jeff!

Recently we were asked to do a Q&A for Martha Retallic's “Postcard Marketing Secrets” ezine regarding our postcard campaign -- check it out!

We won a "Merit Award" in Portfolio.com's first annual award show for our oh-so-groovy postcards.

Several great projects -- Several very cool ones involved establishing the look for a new company called Brevium. We also had the opportunity to do a website for Plateau Jewelers with a special ecommerce section featuring their unique line of jewelery Kids Keepsakes. We developed an identity that we are very excited about for a company called Real Tech. It was a real pleasure to work on.
